  At the turn of the century, he went to work, first in Nort h Attleboro,Massachusetts, then in Attleboro proper. In 19 05, he married Bessie,daughter of Fulton Foster of Pugwas h and Lynn, Massachusetts. He wasstricken with tubercula r trouble some time thereafter and was nevercompletely wel l again.
